The Kilmorey Lodge and Aspen Village Inn organize several cast and crew events each season. Weekly events will also be organized for those that wish to join in. Typical events may include: painting contests, baseball, crib and poker tournaments, glow in the dark Frisbee, pub-crawls, etc. Cast events are a great way for people  to  get to know each other better outside of work and they also keep you busy while saving money. 

A sample of some of our organized annual events:

Welcome BBQ
Usually held at Epona Pastures and includes a bonfire, quadding, mingling, food, and more.

Christmas in July
Since many of our cast members are seasonal and are not with us in December it gives us great pleasure to celebrate Christmas with our entire cast. This evening entails dressing up, a turkey dinner, dancing, and socializing.

End of Summer Bash 
A fun end of the summer event where we play games, celebrate, eat, drink, and celebrate. Past activities have included: glow in the dark golfing, costume night Frisbee, and game show mania.

Christmas at Christmas
Gift exchanges, glow in the dark bowling, a sit down dinner at the Kilmorey Lodge...this fun event takes place in December.

Location
 Whether you want rest and relaxation or the opportunity to experience something new, Waterton Park has is all! Experience all Waterton Park has to offer from camping, hiking, fishing, and mountain biking during the summer to cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and ice fishing in the winter months. The beautiful scenery and wildlife provide lots of opportunity for great photography. Any season is a great time to make new friends from across Canada and around the world.

Food & Beverage Discounts 
Cast members receive discounts in our restaurant, lounge, and Gazebo Café. 

Health Care & Benefits
Actors will be eligible to join our Alberta Health Care Plan depending on their contract length.

Scholarships
Every summer season we happily award several students with scholarships. Scholarships recipients are chosen based on work ethic, attitude, and performance. 

Transportation (actor shuttle)
The Kilmorey Lodge and Aspen Village have a van that is available to take actors to town to do banking, get groceries, etc. There are certain actors that are insured on the shuttle and when they are available to take the van to town, other cast members are encouraged to join them. Please note that the van does not go to town on a scheduled basis. 

Performance Bonuses
We gladly reward those cast members that shine in their daily performance! It is possible to receive financial bonuses throughout your contract and at contract completion. 

Completion Bonuses
All actors will receive an hourly bonus for each hour worked at the end of their contract. Hourly bonus rates vary on role and contract. 

Staff Parking
Staff parking is available free of charge at all staff houses and at the Kilmorey Lodge and Aspen Village Inn. 

Attraction Discounts 
Many area attractions and operators generally give our actors discount coupons or free familiarization tours. Please see our Staff Handbook for information on area activities. 

Training and Development
Training is worth the investment and makes a difference. The Kilmorey Lodge and Aspen Village Inn team of directors and production managers are advocates of continuous training and development of all cast members. Subsidized Housing
We are happy to provide all of our actors (who live further than daily driving distance to Waterton Park) with subsidized staff housing that provides basic accommodation. It is intended to be inexpensive to the employee. Due to the fact that the production company subsidizes housing, there are standards of respect to be followed by all residents and guests. Sporting Equipment
Snowshoes, a canoe, and bicycles are available for rental for our cast members.
